Making Progress : Rethinking State and School District Policies
I am a technology teacher and a strong believer that we need to find a place for mobile devices in the classroom. However, as a union delegate member I do have fears that mobile devices can be used to record classroom issues. I was elected to protect and represent the union members. If a student decides to record a video and blast it on Youtube, the effect can be disastrous. They need to work on an app that registers the devices once the students enter the classroom. It can then deactivate camera and microphone functions as well as other specific functions. Once the students leave, the app disengages. I might actually start working on that.
